Memories

I received a note from Stacy Jackson, a good friend and former colleague. In it she sent me this photo. She also had some nice things to say -which  I have taken the liberty of transcribing below.
"I had dinner with Stephanie Boyd the other night, and she said that you maintain a shrine of sorts (well, it’s a shrine for me and perhaps a commemoration for you) of images of the words Level 3… out there in the world.  I thought this one would be particularly fun.  It appears where I park EVERY DAY for my new job! I guess I should be grateful that the sign’s not red."

UIO

Today was my first time connecting flights at Quito's new airport in Tababela. Landing in the wide open plains was a far cry from knuckle-whitening experience of flying into the narrow mountain valley and between the tall buildings in the North of Quito which you got at the old airport. Then there is the distance from town (a 45 minute commute with no traffic -but there's always traffic). Also in the "not quite what it used to be" category, was the signage. It would have been just as easy (and much better) to use the word Nivel/Level. O, well, I guess I'll post the picture anyway. t won't be the first time.

Level 2?

There's a nagging familiarity about this sign... Ah, yes, the red brackets.

Auroria Campus

My daughter texted me this pic while volunteering at CU Denver. She then proceeded to drop a table she was trying to move by herself on her toe... so I had to head on down to the Auroria campus to pick-up her car from the parking structure. No fractures and we got two Level 3 photos out of the ordeal. All's well that ends well.

Chinatown, NY

This is the closest I could find to Level 3 in Chinatown, taken at the Golden Unicorn restaurant.
